Day 1

PICK-UP SAN CRISTOBAL AIRPORT

Your adventure begins upon arrival at Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport, where our team will welcome you and assist with your transfer. From there, we travel to the charming highland town of San Cristobal de las Casas, a cultural jewel known for its cobblestone streets, colorful markets, and rich Indigenous heritage. After checking in at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax or take a leisurely stroll through the historic center. Overnight in San Cristobal.

Day 2

INDIGENOUS TRADITIONS & SUMIDERO CANYON

Today combines deep cultural traditions with one of Chiapas’ most spectacular natural wonders.

We begin with visits to the Indigenous Tzotzil communities of San Juan Chamula  where you will witness the unique spiritual practices inside its famous church. In  Zinacantan visit local homes to learn about traditional weaving techniques and vibrant textiles.

Later, we travel to the magnificent Sumidero Canyon for a boat excursion along the Grijalva River. Overnight in San Cristobal.

Day 3

EXPLORING SAN CRISTOBAL DE LAS CASAS

Today we explore  San Cristobal. Walk through the lively central square and admire the beautiful Cathedral;  continue to the impressive Templo de Santo Domingo, a baroque masterpiece.

Strolling along the pedestrian street Andador Real de Guadalupe, you’ll discover artisan shops, cafés, and galleries. We’ll also visit a traditional market. Overnight in San Cristobal.

Day 4

BARRIOS WATERFALLS AND PALENQUE

Today we leave the highlands and descend toward the lush jungles of northern Chiapas.

Along the way, we stop at the beautiful Roberto Barrios Waterfalls, a peaceful series of turquoise cascades surrounded by jungle vegetation. The natural pools offer a perfect opportunity to swim, relax, or simply enjoy the tranquil scenery. We continue toward the ancient Maya region of Palenque. Overnight in Palenque.

Day 5

BONAMPAK THE TEMPLE OF MURALS

Deep within the Lacandon Jungle lies one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the Maya world: Bonampak, renowned for its extraordinary murals, visual records of ancient Maya civilization. After exploring the site, we continue deeper into the jungle to our lodge near Frontera Corozal. Overnight in the Lacandon Jungle.

Day 6

YAXCHILAN, LOST CITY IN THE JUNGLE

Hidden Yaxchilan Chiapas Mayan Archaelogical Site

Today we visit one of the most remote and atmospheric Maya cities: Yaxchilan. To reach the site, we take a scenic boat ride along the Usumacinta River, the natural border between Mexico and Guatemala. Hidden within dense jungle, Yaxchilan reveals impressive temples, plazas, and intricately carved monuments. As you explore the site, the sounds of howler monkeys and tropical birds echo through the forest, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Return to the lodge for the evening.

Day 7

VILLAHERMOSA AND ITS OLMEC HERITAGE

Leaving the jungle behind, we travel toward Villahermosa, in  Tabasco. Here we visit the remarkable Parque-Museo La Venta, an open-air museum showcasing the legacy of the ancient Olmec civilization. Among lush tropical vegetation, you will see monumental stone heads, altars, and sculptures that date back more than 3,000 years. Overnight in Villahermosa.

Day 8

DROP-OFF AT VILLAHERMOSA AIRPORT

After breakfast, we provide a comfortable transfer to Carlos Rovirosa Perez International Airport for your departure. As your journey comes to an end, you leave with unforgettable memories of Chiapas and Villahermosa—their ancient civilizations, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant living traditions.
